Well, Terminator 3 is my least favorite Terminator movie, officially. I’ve seen all four of them, and I have to say, for me it goes T2 > Terminator > Salvation > T3. I haven’t seen this one since it came out, and it’s even worse than I remember it.

It’s not even really that Terminator 3 is a bad movie, it’s just not anywhere near as good as the others, especially not the first two, which are godly.

Terminator 3 takes place when John Connor (played by Nick Stahl) is in his 20s. Another Terminator, a female model called the T-X (played by Kristanna Loken), is sent back in time to kill John Connor and his future comrades, including a new character named Kate Brewster (played by Claire Danes), the woman who will supposedly be John’s future wife. Once again, the Terminator (played by Arnold Schwarzenegger) who we all know is sent back to protect the duo.

I don’t really know what it is about Terminator 3 that makes it so unlikeable compared to the first two. It’s just…not as good. Really. All four Terminator movies have considerably different styles to them, and the feel of Terminator 3 just isn’t all that good. The quality just isn’t anywhere near the first two films.

Everything I’ve come to love about the first two…the incredible over-the-top action scenes, the engaging story, the awesome acting, the amazing music…it just seems to have disappeared. It’s still there a little bit, it’s just dumbed way down.

I dunno, Terminator 3 isn’t all that bad. I just don’t think it deserves the Terminator name, honestly.
